BIOVEGAN corn starch consists of pure corn starch; it is very versatile and completely tasteless.

BIOVEGAN corn starch gives baked goods and cakes a delicate, light texture, provides the desired consistency for desserts and works as an effective thickener in liquid dishes.

Suitable for baking, sauces and more.

Uses

This fine corn starch is well suited to a wide range of uses, including soups, sauces, creams, set fruit desserts, cakes, pastries, sponge cakes, waffles and dumplings.

Directions

Per 500 ml of liquid:

Soups: 15–20 g
Sauces: 20–25 g
Creams / fruit fillings: 25–30 g
Set desserts: 30–35 g
For sponge cakes and pastries: replace 1/3 of the flour with BIOVEGAN fine corn starch.

1 heaped teaspoon = approx. 10 g; 1 heaped tablespoon = approx. 20 g
