Organically grown bay leaves are ideal for seasoning stews, sauces, and grilled meat and fish. Bay leaves can also be used to make tea (for 1 cup, pour boiling water over 3-4 leaves and leave to steep covered for 10 minutes).
Bay leaves can also be burned for their pleasant aroma: place a bay leaf in an ashtray, light it and leave the room for a few minutes. When you come back, the room will be filled with a pleasant scent.
