Sonnentor Aniseed 50 g, Organic

Aniseed has an intensely sweet flavour with light notes of liquorice. Since ancient times it has been used to make sweets, while in Eastern cuisine it is also used in spicy dishes.
It is used to flavour and decorate breads. It also goes well in baked fish, fish soups, baked potatoes, crab and cheese salads, fruit salads and apple pie, or to flavour coffee and make tea.

Anise is also used to flavour teas, throat drops and liqueurs.

Aniseed has traditionally been used to support comfortable digestion and to ease the feeling of bloating after meals. It contains essential oils and is a traditional ingredient in warming teas for the cold season.
