Savon du Midi soaps are made in Provence, France. Making soap from vegetable oils has a long tradition in the Mediterranean region, centred in southern France on Marseille and Provence. Only certified organic vegetable oils are used in the saponification process. After saponification, shea butter and, depending on the type, honey, perfume or essential oil are added during final processing. Savon du Midi soaps are made using traditional Provençal know-how. This largely artisanal production method is reflected in the quality of this gentle, nourishing soap.

No animal fats are used in any of the soaps.
