Chamomile is a legendary soother of irritated skin and has long been used in traditional skin care, including after too much sun.

Grapeseed oil absorbs quickly, moisturises, softens the skin and helps reduce the visible signs of ageing.

Beeswax forms a layer that helps retain moisture and reduce dryness.

The polyunsaturated fatty acids in rapeseed oil support the skin’s ceramides and help maintain its healthy structure. The natural vitamin E in rapeseed oil is an antioxidant that is beneficial for the skin.

Directions:

Uses of chamomile (German chamomile, Chamomilla recutita):

1. Irritated and reddened skin. Chamomile’s soothing properties were already described by Avicenna, and chamomile is suitable for reddened, irritated, flaky and rough skin – for example to soothe skin in the nappy area, itchy skin or skin after too much sun. Chamomile is one of the best-known and most widely used herbs.
2. Especially dry skin. Chamomile is particularly well suited for the care of dry, delicate and sensitive skin. A chamomile salve stays on the skin longer than a cream, allowing chamomile to work and helping restore the skin’s natural moisture.
3. Chamomile owes its strength to antioxidants that help protect the skin against free radicals. Chamomile gives the skin a more youthful look by supporting its natural renewal.

Loodu Chamomile Salve comes in a pump bottle, making it more hygienic and convenient to use. The product contains no synthetic ingredients, distracting fragrances or essential oils. It uses pleasant beeswax and light, quickly absorbed grapeseed oil. Beeswax helps hold moisture on the skin’s surface.
