Lupin coffee is a natural alternative for anyone who wants to enjoy coffee more mindfully – caffeine-free, yet full-flavoured.

Lupin coffee is made from roasted sweet lupins. It is caffeine-free and contains few bitter substances.

Café Pino impresses with a full-bodied, slightly nutty aroma and a fine chocolatey note. Although it differs from classic ground coffee, its taste is very similar, especially compared to other coffee substitutes.

Our lupins are gently roasted in a long roasting process at around 200 °C. This method ensures a full aroma and helps minimise undesirable substances such as acrylamide.

As lupins contain fewer carbohydrates than cereals or beans, they also naturally contain less acrylamide – a real advantage for conscious consumption.

We recommend about 25 g of ground lupin coffee per 250 ml of water

> Rinse the filter bag with hot water and discard the water.

> Add the coffee and brew in three stages:

1st pour: 50 ml, wait 30 seconds (bloom)

2nd pour: 100 ml, 30–45 seconds

3rd pour: 100 ml, let it run through.
