Lapacho (Tabebuia impetiginosa) belongs to the trumpet tree plants and is originated in Middle and South America. It may reach an age of more than 700 years. Lapacho tea has a long tradition in the rainforests of Middle and South America. The Inca called Lapacho “Tree of Life” and applied it as a healing remedy. Today Lapacho is applied in South American hospitals because of its strengthening effect on the immune systemMode of action: Only 50 years ago doctors and scientists have rediscovered the Lapacho bark and revealed astonishing effects. Recommended use: Boil 1 heaped tablespoon of bark in ½ litre water for 5 minutes, then let is draw for 15 minutes. Sweeten with honey. A little splash of lemon juice will help to dissolve the mineral nutrients.
