Silk is very light, feels soothing on the skin, regulates temperature and dries quickly. Silk can absorb moisture up to 30% of its own weight. A silk cocoon usually consists of a delicate silk thread around 3,000 metres long. Silk also refreshes best in fresh air \u2013 light odours and creases disappear easily that way. When washing silk, use a silk or wool detergent so that it stays beautiful for longer. Do not soak silk in water for long.<\/p>\n
Wash woollen clothes only when there are visible stains, by hand or in the washing machine on the wool programme with wool detergent<\/a>.
