A natural and pure source of magnesium for the whole body.

The gel has all the good properties of the oil, but it is more pleasant to apply and stings much less (if the oil stung at all). The bottle is also slightly smaller and made of plastic, so it is easier to take with you.

Ingredients: water, magnesium chloride MgCl (30%), gelling agent hydroxypropyl starch phosphate (2.8%).

Origin: Veendam, the Netherlands. Extracted from a salt deposit of the Zechstein Sea at a depth of 1600 m.

Use:

Apply to the skin and massage in. After about twenty minutes you may (but don’t have to) wash off the remaining layer. May cause brief stinging on the skin. With magnesium gel, the magnesium the body needs is absorbed quickly and directly into the cells in a particularly gentle way. Ideal for athletes after training to relieve muscle tension and cramps. 1 ml of magnesium gel contains 101 mg of magnesium. The most common signs of magnesium deficiency are aching legs, muscle tension and cramps, fatigue, nervousness, insomnia and stress.

The product is intended for external use. The taste is unpleasant, but contact with mucous membranes is completely safe. May irritate the eyes; rinse with plenty of water.

Therapeutic value of magnesium as a mineral:

 1. Anxiety, distress and panic attacks – magnesium helps keep adrenaline stress hormones under control

 2. Asthma – magnesium deficiency aggravates both bronchial spasms and the release of histamine in the body

 3. Blood clots – magnesium regulates blood viscosity without side effects and prevents clots from forming

 4. Bowel disorders – magnesium deficiency slows the bowel, causing constipation, toxic reactions and colitis and making it harder to absorb nutrients

 5. Cystitis – bladder spasms worsen with magnesium deficiency

 6. Depression – serotonin (the mood lifter) depends on magnesium

 7. Detoxification – magnesium plays an important role in removing heavy metals accumulated in the body

 8. Diabetes – magnesium facilitates the secretion of insulin, speeding up sugar metabolism. Without magnesium, insulin could not deliver glucose into the cells.

 9. Fatigue – patients with magnesium deficiency usually complain of fatigue, because dozens of the body’s enzyme systems work poorly. The first symptom of magnesium deficiency is fatigue.

 10. Heart disease – magnesium deficiency is common in people with heart disease. Like every other muscle, the heart muscle needs magnesium.

 11. High blood pressure – a lack of magnesium raises cholesterol

 12. Hypoglycaemia – magnesium keeps blood sugar under control

 13. Insomnia – the body’s production of the sleep-regulating hormone melatonin is disturbed without enough magnesium

 14. Kidney disease – magnesium deficiency is linked to atherosclerotic kidney failure

 15. Headaches – the balance of serotonin depends on magnesium. Serotonin deficiency culminates in migraine and depression.

 16. Muscle condition – fibrositis, fibromyalgia, muscle cramps, eyelid twitching and chronic neck and back pain can be consequences of magnesium deficiency and can be relieved with magnesium oil.

 17. Nerve problems – magnesium helps with disorders of the peripheral nervous system throughout the body, as well as with dizziness

 18. Gynaecological, pre- and postnatal problems – magnesium helps prevent premenstrual syndrome and menstrual pain and weakens uterine contractions during pregnancy. Women are also advised to take magnesium (as oil or a supplement) during pregnancy.

 19. Osteoporosis – taking calcium and vitamin D without balancing magnesium causes an even greater magnesium deficiency, with negative consequences for bone health

 20. Raynaud’s syndrome – magnesium relaxes spastic blood vessels that cause numbness and pain in the fingers

 21. Tooth decay – magnesium deficiency causes an unhealthy balance of phosphorus and calcium in saliva, which damages the teeth
