Regulates the metabolism of neurotransmitters, transmittion of neural impulses, absorption of iron, hematopioetic processes, synthesis of thyroxin, functions of connective tissue, pigments metabolism, stimulates the production of both female and male hormones.

Deficiency of copper and zinc may lead to the development of chronic inflammatory processes, especially inflammations damaging the reproductive system.

In women: endometritis, vaginitis, cervicitis, imbalance of the vaginal microflora; in men: chronic prostatitis, urethritis, otitis, acute sinusitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis, angina, blood vessel damage in the brain (stroke prevention), damage of hematopoietic processes and copper deficiency caused anemia. Deficiency of copper and zinc causes aggression, sudden changes in spirits and on emotional level. Zinc stimulates the synthesis of leukocytes – one of immune system’s onco-protective components.

Effect: Regulates the metabolism of neurotransmitters, transmittion of neural impulses, absorption of iron, hematopioetic processes, synthesis of thyroxin, functions of connective tissue, pigments metabolism, stimulates the production of both female and male hormones. Stimulates the processes of spermatogenesis in men and ovarian functions in women; supports the health of the mother and the fetus, helping the child to be born healthy and strong. Activates ferments, regulates carbohydrate, protein and energy metabolism (ATP, adenosine triphosphate – a nucleotide that plays an important role in energy and metabolic processes of the organisms; is known as a universal energy source for all biochemical processes taking place in living organisms), reduces the irritation of the nerve cells. Also reduces degenerative changes of the esophagus associated with chemo- and radiation therapy, stomach ulcers and cancer; has an anti-stress effect and increases the activity of immune factors.

Indications: cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, hypertension, chronic fatigue, muscle and joint pain, migraine, anemias, serious psychic and physical overloads, PMS, tendency to develop oncological diseases, stress, chemotherapy and radiation treatment, thyrotoxicosis, frequent common colds.

Copper deficiency leads to following issues:
Liver – hepatitis, cirrhosis, cholecystitis;
Central nervous system – sclerosis multiplex, cramps, risk of schizophrenia, increased irritability;
Gastrointestinal tract – colitis;
Connective tissue – arthritis, arthrosis, osteporosis, Bechterew’s disease, scleroderma, gout, varicose thromboplebitis;
Kidneys – urinary stone disease, pyelonephritis;
Endocrine system – enlargment of the thyroid, thyrotoxicosis, goitre, infertility, impaired sexual maturation in girls, menstrual cycle disorders;
Immune system – lung, mammary gland and pancreatic cancer risk, anemia;
Skin – vitiligo, acne.
Main indications of zinc deficiency in the organism:
Irritability, fatigue, decrease in memory functions, sleep disorders (studies show that zinc levels are higher in better students, than those falling behind in their studies); hyperactivity, depressive state;
Tendency to alcoholism and drug addiction (zinc belongs to alcohol dehydrogenase formation, which is a ferment oxidizing and counteractive to the alcohol in the body); zinc deficiency sharply increases alcohol embryotoxicity. In case of zinc deficiency alcohol and drug addiction in humans develops faster, at the same time increasing loss of this microelement and decreasing its absorption from food. That is the vicious circle of zinc metabolism disturbance.
Decreased visual acuity and sense of taste, mouth sores. Changes of senses of taste and smell during pregnancy are often related to the increased need for zinc in the first trimester, connected to the development of placenta and the fetus.
Changes in sense of smell, loss of appetite – often related to low stomach acid, diarrhea, weight loss.
Ulcers of mucous membranes ( in 1975, an Australian medical journal issued an article describing the connection between patiens with stomach ulcers, low zinc levels and an increase in efficiency of treatment that included zinc. Regular pharmacological treatments and diets were too long and low in efficiency).
Cadmium and lead accumulation in the organism – itchy skin rashes, acne, furunculosis, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, trophic ulcers, poorly healing wounds (possible use of an ointment made with any cream mixed with one tablet of ZiMed and/or CroMaZin)
Osteogenesis process disorders – an experiment showed that the deficiency of zinc in food leads to deterioration of joint mobility and edemas. Symptoms disappeared after adding zinc to the food allowance.
Peeling of the nails, white spots on nails, dull hair, dandruff, impaired growth, hair loss, decline of insulin levels, risk of developing diabetes, late sexual maturation in children (especially in boys, decline in spermatosoid fertility).
Decline in sexual activity, impotency in men, increased risk of prostate adenoma, premature birth, birth of weak babies, sterility in women. 13-18% of women suffering from zinc deficiency developed fetal damages such as hydrocephalus, cleft palate, spine curvature disorders, umbilical hernia etc.
Decline of T-cell mediated immunity, low infection resistance, other immunodeficiencies in conjuction with hypogammaglobulinemia and lymphadenopathy.
Frequent and long lasting common colds – studies have showed that zinc has anti-viral and antitoxic effects on cells.
Allergic and autoimmune diseases – according to blood tests, large groups of rheumatoid arthritis patients have showed a decline in zinc levels in comparison to the sample groups. Adding zinc to the treatment plan had notable positive effects – a decline in edemas and intensity of occuring pains.
Anemia, increased risk of oncological processes and tumor development, accelerated aging processes.
Increased levels of phytates, phosphates and calcium, use of corticosteroids, oral contraceptives, anabolics, antimetabolites, diuretics, alcohol and immunosuppresants lead to the development of zinc deficiency in the organism.
