Microelements are gaining appreciacion not only in Russia, but worldwide. In many cases treatment with microelements is inevitable, yet unfortunately still not conducted. Numbers of the diseases caused by microelement deficiency are constantly growing.

Effects: Anti-sclerotic, overall strengthening and regenerating effect, normalizes carbohydrate metabolism and hormone synthesis, regulates testosterone metabolism and energy-dependent processes, regulates carbohydrate and fat metabolism, stimulates the work of the immune system, synthesis of the antibodies and anti-viral defence. Excretes heavy metals and toxins, strengthens nervous, endocrine system and haemotopoiesis, normalizes the work of cardiovascular system, ovarian functions and lipid metabolism. Strengthens the heart muscle and coronary arteries.

Indications: chronic fatigue, asthenia, skin diseases (acne, psoriasis, herpes, allergies etc.), nail problems, hair loss and impaired growth, strengthening of joint surfaces. Low immunity, post chemothrapy and radiotherapy conditions, profylaxis of diabetes, obesity, chronic prostatitis,menopause, post infectious conditions, normalizing cholesterol levels, impaired growth and development, poor memory, frequent common colds, tendency for excessive alcohol consumption, support of the organs of sight.

Diseases caused by zinc deficiency
Skin: dermatitis, eczema, furunculosis, acne, bleeding wounds, trophic ulcers, seborrhea, hair loss and impaired growth.
Mucous membranes: ulcers, erosions, oral ulcerations, stomatitis, gingivitis, cheilitis;
Immune system: T-cell immunodeficiency;
Central nervous system: loss of appetite, changes in the sense of taste, hyperactivity or depression, epilepsy, memory problems, impaired development in children.
Pancreas: insulin deficiency
Hypophysis: maturation disorders in boys
Prostate: potency loss, infertility, increased risk of adenoma;
Liver: decline in protein and testosterone synthesis;
Cardiovascular system: increased level of cholesterol;
Eyes: decline in sharpness of vision, retinal disorders.

Zinc deficiency leads to stress, oncological diseases, psoriasis, kidney diseases, absorption disorders (intestinal dysbiosis, fermentopathies, celiac disease), toxicosis, helmintosis.
Causes of major loss of zinc: chemotherapy, surgeries, burns, colds, acute respiratory diseases, flu, drug use.

Manganese deficiency causes:
Central nervous system: cramps, impaired development in children, depression, asthenia;
Bone tissue: movement disorders (risk of paralysis), with the increase of age, organism loses manganese and bone density decreases, leading to increased risk of fractures, osteporosis, arthritis;
Connective tissue: arthrosis;
Immune system: tendency for neoplastic formations, asthma;
Pancreas: risk of diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance, obesity;
Female reproductive organs: early menopause, ovarian dysfunction, infertility;
Skin: pigmentation disorders, vitiligo, acne.

Manganese deficiency is observed in many cases of visual disorders (decline in sharpness of vision, night blindness, cataract, retinopathy). It is one of the most common deviations in element metabolism. This is related to an increased psycho-emotional load (manganese is the main irreplaceable microelement in neurochemical processes of the central nervous system), increased toxic load (Мп-Соd –one of the most important ferments preventing the damaging effects of free radicals and protecting cell membranes) and increased levels of phosphates (sodas, canned foods etc.). These symptoms may indicate manganese deficiency: mood change, general weakness, dizziness, excessive weight, muscle pain. Manganese deficiency is common in people suffering from allergies, rheumatic diseases, epilepsy, sclerosis multiplex, vitiligo and anemias. In women, manganese deficiency is often associated with gynecological pathologies (ovarian dysfunction, infertility). Post-menopausal disorders in manganese metabolism are frequent causes of osteoporosis.

Manganese deficiency causes slow hair and nail growth, increased the risk of cramping, dermatitis, disorders of cartilage development, disrupts recovery mechanisms of the body, impaires growth etc. Intake of calcium in cases of osteoporosis maximises manganese deficiency, meaning even more worsened absorption of manganese. On the other hand – the organism is not able to absorb calcium and vitamin D3 without manganese. Manganese deficiency in children is expressed as neurotic reactions, scoliosis, cramps, allergies and respiratory diseases. Deficiency is very clear in children with cerebral palsy and impaired mental and speech development. Correction of manganese deficiency has positive results even in severe cases of central nervous system disorders. An assumption exists, that manganese deficiency plays a special role in the development of the damages in subcortical structures of the brain (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s diseases).
Chronic manganese deficiency reduces the ability of glucose utilization in the tissues (causing changes similar to insulin independent diabetes and negatively affecting the trophic of the brain and eye retina). Manganese is necessary for restoration of the work of the pancreas. Microelement deficiency is characteristic of all suffering from diabetes.

Zinc is present in insulin formulation (4 atoms of zinc are needed to form 1 molecule of insulin). Administration of artificial insulin has healing effects lasting only several hours, whereas intake of organic zinc causes pancreas to engage it in its processes and eventually produce its own insulin. Synthesized insulin is inactive without chromium. Organic chromium activates insulin molecules and causes the latter to actively take part in carbohydrate metabolism. Manganese deficiency in the muscles (including the myocardium) and liver leads to disorders in glycogen synthesis in case of which carbohydrates are turned into fats. Chromium activates insulin, manganese regulates the absorption of glycogen. Manganese deficiency deepens carbohydrate-lipid imbalance, aggravates the development of diabetes and obesity. Combined deficiency of these two microelements leads to the development of type I and II diabetes. Deficiency of zinc, chromium, manganese, selenium and copper leads to chronic inflammations, including chronic pancreatitis.

Chromium deficiency provokes following issues:
Hematopoietic – erythrocyte damages
Gastrointestinal tract – liver damage and ulcers
Skin – eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis
Respiratory system – pulmonary fibrosis, allergies, damages of nasal septum, edemas
Kidneys – nephropathy

Long term deficiency of zinc, chromium and manganese leads to deposition of heavy metals (aluminum, cadmium, lead, mercury, arsenic) in the organism. This causes diseases of the kidneys, bone tissue, central nervous system, lungs, ovaries, milk-gland tissues, prostate, skin and mucous membranes.

In case of zinc deficiency, combined intake of supplements ZiMed and CroMaZin is recommended.
