Premium Goat Milk Powder from New Zealand

Golden Goat Milk Powder is spray dried in New Zealand. Because only the water is removed, it remains a high quality, vivid food. Nothing is added! 100 g of powder yield 1 liter whole milk.

Why goat milk?
More and more people are suffering from cow milk allergy. Once this intolerance is recognized, individuals should avoid all cows’ milk proteins for a long time. Goat milk is – as opposed to cow milk – base-forming. Thus, it contributes to a balanced acid-base household and is greatly appreciated by health conscious consumers as a healthy drink and a milk base for porridge (also mashed potatoes, rice porridge, etc.).

Attention!
The following products contain or may contain cow milk proteins: cow milk, whipping cream, sour cream, butter, cakes, biscuits, sausage, margarine, cottage cheese, yogurt, cheese, ice cream, or adapted or partly adapted baby food, etc.

The Saint Hildegard of Bingen (1098 – 1179) recommends in her scientific writings, goat milk as a product that cannot be done without in a healthy kitchen. What the mystic and Benedictine nun knew even then is documented by modern science: goat milk is easier to digest than cow milk and is therefore suitable for very sensitive people.

Why is goat milk tolerated so well?

The protein of the goat milk is compared to that of breast milk, because it has the property to flocculate in smaller and lighter particles than the protein in cow milk. Because the fat globules are smaller, too, goat milk is preferably used by people with sensitive stomachs and used for the production of infant nutrition based on goat milk. Furthermore, goat milk contains more whey proteins and nitrogen-containing non-protein substances than cow milk. Especially striking is the high content of free peptides and amino acids. Goat milk not only contains the pro-vitamins of vitamin A (carotene), but the finished vitamin A.

Goat milk is clearly better tolerated than cow milk:
1. The characterizing feature of an allergenic protein is its resistance to digestion.
It is known that beta-lactoglobulin in cow milk is 50 % more resistant than that of the goat milk. A clear evidence of a significantly higher allergenicity of cow milk.
Second It is also known that the highly allergenic protein alpha-s-1-casein is represented in cow milk at 43 %, whereas in the New Zealand goat milk it is represented only at about 3 % maximum.

Crucial for the significantly better tolerability should be, however, that the highly allergenic casein in cow milk differs considerably from that of the New Zealand goat milk. Therefore people who in part react allergic to cow milk to the highest degree, tolerate our New Zealand goat milk in almost all cases very good.

Golden Goat Goat Whole Milk Powder

Golden Goat whole milk features a pleasant taste (not acerbic) and is easily digestible.
The powder is packed in cans of 400 grams. This amount of goat milk powder yields approximately 4 liters of goat whole milk.

Use approx. 2 heaped tablespoons full of powder with 250ml water in order to produce 250ml of goat whole milk.
To maintain the quality, the opened jar should be stored in a cool place and the content used within about 4 weeks.

As nutrition for infants up to the completed 12th month Golden Goat is not suitable.
Breast feeding should always come first. There is no alternative to breast milk!

In Bambinchen the protein concentration is among other things better adjusted to the needs of the younger infants.

Because of the following our products from Dairy Goat are not organically certified:
The goats are free range grazing animals fed exclusively from the lush grasses and herbs of the sprawling New Zealand pastures. Only in the New Zealand winter hay is fed supplementary. An organic certification according to the European regulations would improve the milk quality-wise in no way and would not change the way the goats are being kept, but considerably raise the price of the milk. Due to punitive tariffs imposed on imported milk products by the EU considerably above 7% we have decided, not to unnecessarily increase the cost of this naturally pure product through the certification.
