Revives natural reflections
Can cover gray hair
100% natural henna

Ingredients: Indigofera Tinctoria, Lawsonia Inermis, Emblica Officinalis.

100% vegetable powder.

100% natural, Brown Henna Centifolia is a mixture of Natural Henna, Amla and Indigo. It revives the color and enhances the natural reflections of brown to black hair. The hair is sheathed, fortified and shiny. This henna can also cover white hair if it represents less than 20% of the total hair. Otherwise, we advise you to proceed in 2 successive steps:
– a first application of natural henna with a short exposure time (your white hair will be rather orange)
– a second application with black henna to neutralize the “orange” appearance and get a brown color.

This henna is a mixture of powders obtained from the leaves of different plants, harvested manually and dried naturally in the sun.

With natural coloring, you can achieve tone-on-tone colors, darken a color by 2 or 3 tones, but you cannot lighten the hair.

Each color obtained by natural coloring is unique: it depends on the base color, the exposure time, the porosity and the percentage of white hair.

Bag with zip closure which allows better conservation of the powder. Packaging guaranteed free of phthalates and Bisphenol A.

Preparation tips:
In a large bowl, gradually add warm water to the powders to obtain a relatively thick paste. Be careful not to use metal utensils. Do not let the mixture sit as the formula contains indigo. You can apply it directly. Indeed, beyond 2 hours, indigo no longer develops its natural pigments.

Quantities to be used as an indication:
For short hair: from 50 to 100g of powder
For medium-length hair (shoulders): from 150 to 200g of powder
For long hair (mid-back): from 200 to 250g of powder
For very long (mid-hips): 300 to 500g of powder

Application tips:
Apply the mixture strand by strand in a thick layer on unwashed hair preferably. When the hair is well impregnated, wrap everything in a plastic film and leave on.
The exposure time is very variable depending on the porosity, the color of the hair and the desired result (from 1h to 12h). The longer the exposure time, the more the color will be pronounced.
Then rinse the hair thoroughly until all residue is eliminated. Rinse only with water, wait 48 to 72 hours for the color to develop before shampooing.
The final color result will only be visible two to three days after application, the time for the color to oxidize.

Beauty tip:
On fine, sensitized and dry hair, it is advisable to add 1 to 2 tablespoons of organic vegetable oil (castor, coconut, argan) or slightly melted shea butter to your mixture because henna can slightly dry out the hair fiber.
We recommend that you use the Centifolia leave-in lotion with raspberry vinegar which, thanks to its acidity, “closes the scales of the hair” and gives it shine.

Precautions for use:

  • Do not apply henna or dye powder to hair that has been permed or chemically colored for less than 2 months.
  • Before coloring, make a Detox Mask.
  • Protect the areas of your skin at risk of being colored by henna or tinctorial powder by applying a thick layer of moisturizing cream or vegetable oil (top of the forehead, around the ears).
  • Wear gloves for the preparation and application of the mixture so as not to stain your hands.
  • Do not use metal utensils to mix henna so as not to affect the quality of the powder. Attention, the material used could remain colored.
  • Test on a non-visible strand before doing all the coloring. Wait 24 hours before seeing the final result.
  • Do not perm or chemically color after a natural henna color less than 2 months old.

FAQ
During regrowth, can I only do the roots? Will there be a demarcation when my hair will grow back?

It is possible to do only the roots. However, be careful: so that there is no demarcation, it is necessary to know the ratio of the mixture of powders which corresponds to your color as well as the exposure time and to reproduce it when you only do your roots. .

My scalp being sensitive, I have itching following the use of natural coloring. What can I do ? In this case, you can add a tablespoon of vegetable oil in the henna. You can also limit the henna application time, since the itching often appears after 3 hours of application.

Henna has a drying effect on my hair. How can I fix it? Indeed, henna tends to dry out the hair more. At the time of preparation, you can add yogurt (to make the preparation smoother) or a tablespoon of vegetable oil (preferred), honey or vegetable glycerin.

My hair color is turning too red, what can I do? The more henna you do, the darker your hair will be. If you want to keep a light color, once the desired color is obtained, cut the henna with neutral henna or only color the roots.
