Organic chickpeas, also known as garbanzos, have a mild nutty flavour and keep their unique round shape when cooked.
Contain lots of protein and fiber and many minerals. Suitable for Asian cuisine (dhal, falafel), roasted stews, casseroles, mashed potatoes, dips, spreads, hummus, soups, curries, salads pasta dishes and as a snack.
Soak in water overnight. Next day boil about 1h with a little salt.
A small tip. Boil the whole pack at a time and put small portions in the freezer. So you can take next time already cooked chickpeas for your dish.
